pure:EQ plug-in from Sonible

Forth AI-powered processor announced

Sonible pure:EQ AI automatic equaliser plug-in

Sonible have announced the release of the fourth addition to their range of intuitive AI-powered plug-ins. pure:EQ offers a straightforward and simple approach to EQ processing, with the company’s neural network technology working behind the scenes to generate a filter curve tailored to the input source.

Setting up the plug-in is as simple as selecting the input source type from a drop-down menu, starting audio playback and clicking on the Learn button, which will result in pure:EQ generating an EQ curve designed to enhance the incoming audio’s tone and tackle any spectral deficiencies. The EQ’s response can be set to update over time, making sure it keeps up with any tonal changes that occur over the length of a track.

A Balance control governs the overall amount of processing applied, whilst Warm, Neutral and Bright Style options offer a range of different tonal characters. It is also possible to limit the frequency range which is subjected to processing by setting upper and lower limits within the plug-in’s Range section.

pure:EQ is also now available as part of the pure:bundle, a collection which also includes the company’s pure:limit, pure:comp and pure:reverb plug-ins.

Compatibility

pure:EQ is supported on PCs running Windows 10, and Macs running macOS 10.12 and above. It is available in VST, VST3, AU and AAX formats. Both machine-based and iLok authorisation methods are available.

Pricing & Availability

pure:EQ is available now, and is being offered for an introductory price of €29 until 2 October 2023, after which it will increase to €49. During the same offer period, the full pure:bundle can be purchased for €89, reduced from its full cost of €129.
