GForce introduce AXXESS soft synth

Recreates and enhances an ARP Axxe

GForce Software AXXESS ARP Axxe soft synth vintage analogue synthesizer emulation

The GForce Software range offers virtual emulations of a number of sought-after hardware synths and electronic instruments. The latest to join the range is the AXXESS, which offers an authentic recreation of the ARP Axxe, a six-voice polysynth originally released in 1975.

The company say that AXXESS retains the warm analogue sound and fundamental architecture of the original instrument, but, as with their other offerings, includes an array of new features and functions that extend its musical capabilities. Some additional low-end reinforcement is provided by a sub-oscillator, whilst an arpeggiator and simple 16-step sequencer open up new performance possibilities, and keen sound designers will be pleased to see built-in distortion, delay and reverb effects.

Both the filter and VCA sections can be modulated by velocity, offering some expressive performance opportunities, and those wishing to introduce some authentic-sounding analogue imperfections can do so using a Vintage control. Programming complex sounds is made simple, too, thanks to the inclusion of GForce’s X-Modifier technology, which allow users to create complex modulations that can control almost all of the instrument’s parameters without needing to manually set up any routing paths.

An efficient Preset Browser provides quick access to over 350 factory sounds created by a diverse range of sound designers and artists including Zardonic, GEOsynths, Christian Laffitte, Richard Veenstra and Ramon Kerstens (K/V), Jordan Passmore, Alex Ball, Dave Spiers, Tom Wolfe, Graeme Rawson, Myjima, Boudicca’s Bass Service and more. A detailed tagging, sorting and search system make it possible to quickly find the ideal sound, and the built-in patches cover a huge collection of genres ranging from electronica to pop, dance to prog, and much more.

Compatibility

AXXESS is supported on PCs running Windows 7 or higher, and Macs running macOS 10.13 and above. VST2, VST3, AU and AAX plug-in versions are available, along with a standalone application.
