Apogee Ginger Audio Symphony I/O MkII GroundControl Sphere Dolby Atmos monitoring software

Apogee Electronics have announced a new partnership with Ginger Audio, which will see the companies collaborate to provide Symphony I/O MkII users with a comprehensive Dolby Atmos monitoring solution using Ginger Audio’s GroundControl Sphere software.

The software will bring a range of powerful features to Apogee’s flagship interfaces, providing users with all they need to bring their studio in line with Dolby’s Atmos specifications. Key features include:

  • Eight selectable software inputs and outputs
  • Flexible bass management with support for channel configurations up to 9.1.6
  • Powerful room correction utilising a user’s favourite EQ plug-in or Sonarworks profile
  • Apple Music Reference, a feature which allows mixes to be compared with 7.1.4 Atmos tracks from Apple’s streaming service
